InterHASHional News is the oldest Hash House Harriers newsletter/magazine founded by my friend Patchwork Quilt, kept alive by Asynch and Mr. Spock. There was a brief period served by Beaver Bam Bam Balls, but he dropped the ball for quite a period, so I picked it back up again with permission from Mr. Spock. Sadly, he has held hostage using copyright any issues he contributed, so his contribution, negligible as it was has been dropped due to failure to share like other past editors. I took over in 2001 as editor off and on for a decade as it became more and more difficult to maintain hardcopy distribution of any newsletter/magazine due to cost. Distribution dropped once again due to a hacker attack a few years, but is now up and serving harriers around the world once again. You just cannot keep a good idea down. We recently published our July 2020 edition and our goal is to have our magazine's website back up and running even better than it was before.
Global Publications and Software, the parent firm of Global Trash and now InterHASHional News, was created in 1995 to cover software, web services and other activities not related to the Hash House Harriers. Global Trash and IHN has always remained the non-profit arm of GP&S to serve the Hash House Harriers community and its almost two thousand groups worldwide. This nonprofit was replaced in the last few years by the all encompassing World Harrier Organization which serves all hounds and hares groups, competitive or social.
With InterHASHional News and Global Trash magazines, we hope this reorganization of the entertainment and communications services of Global Trash under the umbrella of the World Harrier Organization, along with Harrier Mates and Harrier Groups makes it easier for you to find hashers and communicate with them in forums, email lists and your own websites in one location. https://www.WorldHarrierOrganization.com, formerly WorldHHH.com and before that GTHHH.com, still serves as the platform for the directory, calendar and helps to support the magazine publications and their respective websites. Membership and log in for one will work for the other under the GlobalKey â„¢ system, making it easier for about 25 thousand World Harrier Organization members to migrate between the domains. All of this now comes under the World Harrier Organization.
